My Life in Ghana with Peta Hall

Prince Edward County artist Peta Hall has worked in both Kpando and Atorkor, Ghana. In Kpando she established a women’s cooperative, Dzidefo, (meaning “there is hope” in Ewe.) The 10 women make beautiful colourful toddlers clothing, and home accessories using 100% Ghanaian cotton that is batik printed by Claudia in the village

John Clarke, is the Picton Unit Leader of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary. John will share with us the work of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary in the waters around Prince Edward County, including stories of some of the rescues he’s been involved with. This will be a fascinating and useful presentation.
